Abba Banah Academy was born from a deeply personal realization: many girls and women move through life shaped more by cultural expectations and external voices than by truth, wisdom, and a strong understanding of their own identity and potential.

​

Like many women, I have known what it means to question my own worth, to compromise convictions for acceptance, and to allow outside narratives to define who I believed I could become. Over time, through reflection, responsibility, and the study of Scripture, I came to understand something transformative: the mind is the operating center of life. Our choices, confidence, relationships, and futures flow from the beliefs we hold and the narratives we accept about ourselves.

And if the mind shapes life, then the stewardship of the mind becomes our highest responsibility.

Abba Banah Academy exists to help girls learn this truth early. We teach them that their thinking matters, that their voice matters, and that they possess both the responsibility and the power to shape their own lives with wisdom, courage, and love.

​

Our Mind Builder Program is the first step in this mission. In a joyful and supportive environment, girls learn to think critically, build resilience, collaborate with others, and develop confidence rooted not in comparison, but in identity and character. We help them understand that mistakes are part of growth, challenges build strength, and disciplined thinking leads to wise decisions.

The name Abba Banah means “Father Builds.” It reflects our belief that minds and lives are built on principles of truth, wisdom, love, and sound judgment. Our hope is that every girl who passes through this community grows into a woman who leads herself well, influences others positively, and contributes meaningfully to the world around her.

This academy is not simply a program; it is the beginning of a long-term vision — a learning community where girls and women are strengthened intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually so they can thrive throughout their lives.
